HUMIDIFIERS
Controlled humidity through the installation of a GeneralAire® Humidifier allows you the luxury of dialing back your thermostat, effectively reducing your annual heating bills. For example, 68°F at 40% RH feels just as warm as 74° at 20% RH. Setting your thermostat back by as little as 3°degrees can reduce annual heating bills by as much as 5%. Dry air can also cause gaps in window and door frames, allowing outdoor cold air to penetrate your home requiring you to turn up the heat and increase heating bills.
